Fear The Walking Dead season 8

Release date: May 14, 2023 (Part 1)

With The Walking Dead‘s conclusion, Fear The Walking Dead is now the veteran of the TWD Universe. Originally a prequel show, a time-jump saw it catch up with its predecessor, and now it is essentially a companion show known for taking the story in directions quite different from TWD.

Season 7 saw the return of fan-favorite Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), who once again crossed paths with TWD favorite Morgan (Lennie James). With both characters at the forefront of the show, season 8 could be its biggest yet. And it’s set to debut shortly, with the first half of the season premiering on Sunday, May 14 2023. Its midseason finale will then lead directly into the series premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City.

All good things must come to an end and it turns out that, much like its predecessor, Fear The Walking Dead is not immune to that. Along with the show’s return date, it was revealed that season 8 will be the spinoff’s final outing and that it will return to AMC for a second batch of episodes sometime later in the year.

There were ups and downs for sure, but what a run Fear has had!
