This Wednesday, The Flash season 9 returns to The CW with a brand new episode. The show had been off the air for a number of weeks but now it’s back with its ninth installment. This will also be the final interlude episode, setting the stage for the season’s final four-episode storyline.
This is easily going to be the most important episode of the season thus far. Season 9 has been rather disjointed for being a shortened final season, but fans have specifically struggled with its lack of compelling storylines over the past few weeks. That all changes in this week’s episode when Stephen Amell returns as Arrow‘s Oliver Queen one more time.
He’s not the only one back either, as Arrow‘s David Ramsey will join him as John Diggle, while The Flash veterans Keiynan Lonsdale and Sendhil Ramamurthy will also be back as Kid Flash/Wally West and Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork, respectively.
As the episode’s trailer revealed, this installment will feature the final ever Arrowverse crossover as the stars of The Flash and Arrow team up to save the multiverse one more time.
