Kat Graham

If you have ever watched The Vampire Diaries (TVD), then you know who Kat Graham is and why she would make an amazing Poison Ivy. But, if you missed out on the magic of Graham portraying a witch named Bonnie Bennet, then let me break down why the actress would make a great DC villain (or antihero depending on the direction the DC Universe might take the character).

In a lot of ways, Kat Graham’s TVD character was a perfect precursor to Poison Ivy. Not only did the character have a seductive air about her, but she was also powerful. Much like the DC villain herself, Bonnie had gifts that she could use to take down her enemies. We have seen Graham’s character take on original vampires, other witches, and more in an effort to save herself and her friends and family. She wasn’t afraid to turn to the dark side when needed and that is a big reason why we could see her taking on this role.

For us, the fact that Kat Graham isn’t really a big name in Hollywood is also another point in her favor. We could see her making this character her own and showcasing the talent that made her a favorite for fans of TVD.

As an added bonus to the fact that Graham isn’t necessarily very well known, we also have her age. At 33 years old, she is perfect for this role in terms of bringing both maturity to the character, as well as a youthfulness that would let her grow with the DC Universe. We could easily see her playing the role in multiple movies over the years if given the chance.
