Charles Michael Davis

If you are looking for an actor who has a strong and mature presence on screen, then you want Charles Michael Davis. Thanks to his role as Marcel in both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, we have seen the level of brilliance that Davis brings to a character. He knows how to be evil, brilliant, conniving, sympathetic, powerful, and so much more.

We know that he can bring to life a character that is multi-faceted in so many ways. Not only has he brought to life a devilish antihero, but his character was also strong, smart, and even seductive. He was a strategist in the role of Marcel and that is something that would be a perfect fit for Alec Holland.

Considering Alec Holland’s Swamp Thing starts as a scientist before basically dying in the swamp and his consciousness being given life in the form of a humanoid plant creature, it makes sense to have an actor who can bring a sense of genius to the role, as well as a maturity and sense of purpose.

For the next Swamp Thing, we need an actor who is able to use their voice to express many emotions and feelings. And we have seen that from Charles Michael Davis in the past. The fact that he is also in his mid-30s, means that he is mature enough to be a scientist developing a formula to end world hunger and young enough that we could see him embody the role for years to come.

Honestly, Davis could easily be a DC hero and this is definitely one role we could see him take on with ease.
