5 actors we want to see play Green Lantern in the DC Universe

We have already seen Mike Colter as a superhero on the small screen thanks to his turn as Luke Cage. This means that we already know that he has the screen presence we want from a superhero. And considering Luke Cage was known for being basically indestructible, we can’t help but think that this is further proof that Colter could handle being a Green Lantern.

So which Green Lantern do we think Mike Colter would portray as part of the DC Universe? Probably John Stewart, a human member of the Corps (both the Green Lantern Corps and the Marine Corps). Considering John was only the second African-American superhero in the DC comics, it makes sense that we want an actor who has already proven that they can handle being a superhero.

With Mike Colter, we get a highly versatile actor who we could easily see as a member of an intergalactic police force. He has already showcased his wide range of abilities thanks to not only his role as a Marvel superhero but also in his roles in Evil and Plane. Colter has what it takes to bring more than just a serious vibe to the character, he also has a sense of humor, which we have seen on our screens as well.

Honestly, Colter is one of those actors that we just want to see more of on our screens. And he has the ability to steal a scene just by being a part of it, which is something we want from our next Green Lantern. So if ever there was an actor who would be a great John Stewart, it would have to be Mike Colter.
