AI chooses 5 actors who could play Aegon the Conqueror (and its picks are surprising)

ChatGPT totally has a thing for Tom Hardy! I’ve played around with the AI tool and asked it about a potential casting for Aegon the Conqueror in the past and it gave me the Venom actor. Like many actors on his list, I really love Hardy! He’s incredibly talented and has brought us so many fantastic, complex performances over the years. But for Aegon I? Nope, don’t like it.

Why does AI like it? Here’s what it told me:

"“Hardy’s chameleonic ability to disappear into a role makes him a versatile pick for Aegon. He’s played everyone from Bane in The Dark Knight Rises to Charles Bronson in Bronson, and his intensity would be a great match for the character’s fiery temperament.”"

The reason I’m against Hardy as Aegon is similar to most of the entries on this list. At 45 years old, he’s too old, and he’s just too famous! Maybe it could’ve worked years and years ago, but not now. Hardy is known for a variety of different roles, from The Dark Knight Rises‘ Bane and Venom‘s Eddie Brock to Mad Max‘s Max and Inception‘s Eames. He’s one of the best actors working today, but we need someone newer to the scene.

Considering these five results, I decided to go back to ChatGPT one more time to refine my request. This time, I asked it to choose someone in their 20s or 30s, also giving it the criteria that the actor couldn’t have appeared in Game of Thrones before. The answer I got? Also unexpected! AI told me it should be Harry Styles. Hm, I’m not sure about that one either… I’ll have to think about this one a bit longer!
