Fan casting aint easy especially when it comes to a hero as beloved as one Static. It seems like forever since Warner Bros promised a movie. Finally, the time is here and one name that comes to mind is Miles Brown. Fan cast fanatics will see his name on another list too, Miles Morales’ Spider-Man in the MCU, for good reason. Best known for his role as Jack Johnson in the hit TV series black-ish, Brown is a multitalented actor, dancer, and rapper who would bring all of his skills to the role of Virgil Hawkins, aka Static.

At just 18 years old, Brown is the perfect age to play a teenage superhero who is just discovering his powers. He also has the ability to talk a little trash, something that fans of the Static Shock comics know is a key part of Virgil’s personality.

But it’s not just his acting skills that make Brown a great fit for the role. He’s also a talented dancer, having appeared on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors, and has released his own music, showing off his rapping skills.

If James Gunn and Peter Safran are looking for a young star who can bring both charisma and talent to the role of Static, then Miles Brown should definitely be at the top of their list. Fans can’t wait to see what he could bring to the iconic character in the upcoming movie.
