Margot Robbie has emerged as a favorite play Sue Storm in Marvel’s Fantastic Four and now we have our first look at what Robbie could look like as the Invisible Woman.

After several attempts to bring the Fantastic Four to the big screen, fans were thrilled to hear that Marvel Studios would finally be getting its chance to adapt the characters in the MCU.

Following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox in 2019, the rights to the superhero team finally returned to Marvel Studios. Marvel fans have been eagerly waiting for the studio to introduce the Fantastic Four to the MCU, and luckily we don’t have long to wait as they’ll hit the theaters in 2025.

One of the biggest questions on fans’ minds is who will be cast as the key roles of the Fantastic Four. Fans have been sharing their own casting ideas and wishlists on social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit. The casting for the Fantastic Four is particularly important because it is crucial for the actors to embody the unique personalities and dynamics of the team. Fans are hoping to see actors who can capture the charisma, intelligence, and quirks of each character.

Every fan has their own unique thoughts on who should play the key characters from the team, and recent weeks have brought a flurry of casting rumors.

What Margot Robbie could look like as Sue Storm in the MCU

The newest Fantastic Four casting rumor suggests Margot Robbie has entered the mix of actresses on Marvel Studios’ radar for the role of Sue Storm. This new rumor quickly sparked inspiration among many talented digital artists including Hibban Mohammed (Venomhology), who has provided us a glimpse into what Robbie could look like in the role of the Invisible Woman.

In the jaw-dropping concept art, Robbie is transformed into Sue Storm complete with the character’s iconic blue and black Fantastic Four super suit. While seeing Robbie in the character’s iconic comic book costume is truly incredible, what really ties the concept art together and puts it over the top is the incorporation of the character’s signature force fields.

It’s clear that the artist put a lot of thought and care into this piece. The super suit looks amazing on Robbie and the concept art perfectly captures her powers in action. It’s amazing to see how they’ve portrayed Sue with such strength and confidence, which is exactly how she should be represented.

Is Margot Robbie going to be in Fantastic Four?

At this time, Marvel has not announced any casting decisions for its Fantastic Four movie; however, it does appear that Margot Robbie has been offered a part in the film. What remains to be seen is whether she’ll accept Marvel’s offer and make the jump from DC to Marvel.

According to prominent insider Daniel Richtman (via The Direct), Marvel Studios offered the role of Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman to Margot Robbie. The move seems to suggest that Robbie is a top candidate for the role as offers typically only go out to stars the studio has an interest in bringing onto a project.

With the offer extended to Robbie, the ball is now in her court as she’s tasked with deciding whether to pursue the offer or pass on it which is entirely possible. If Robbie were to accept the offer and join the MCU, she’d make history by becoming the first star to play a franchise role in both a DC and Marvel film.

If Marvel is able to steal Robbie away from DC, it would also be a major power move for the studio and a huge get for the MCU.
