Chris Hemsworth Marvel movies, ranked
Chris Hemsworth is one of the biggest stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In fact, there’s an argument that Hemsworth has been the most important star in the MCU to date. While we’re unsure of Hemsworth’s future in the MCU as Thor, we took the opportunity to rank all eight of the Chris Hemsworth Marvel movies.
Hemsworth is the only MCU star with four standalone movies. Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, and Captain America only have three movies, while there are four Thor movies. We’ve also seen Hemsworth appear in all four Avengers movies, along with Doctor Strange.
Here is the list of the Chris Hemsworth Marvel movies in order:
- Thor (2011)
- The Avengers (2012)
- Thor: The Dark World (2013)
- The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
- Doctor Strange (2016)
- Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
- Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
- Avengers: Endgame (2019)
- Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
For the purpose of this ranking, we’re leaving out Doctor Strange because Thor has such a small, limited role in the film.
We’ll also update the list as we see more of the Chris Hemsworth Marvel movies. We have to assume he’ll make an appearance in one of the upcoming Avengers movies, but we’re still waiting for the official word from Kevin Feige and Marvel.
Let’s get the list started with the worst of the Chris Hemsworth Marvel movies, Thor: The Dark World.
