6. Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth Thor movie so far. As mentioned, it’s the movie that separates Chris Hemsworth from Robert Downey Jr., Paul Rudd, Chris Evans, and Tom Holland as the only MCU star with four standalone movies. Tom Holland will break the record, but Hemsworth might get another Thor movie before it’s all said and done.

Officially, Thor: Love and Thunder is Hemsworth’s eighth MCU movie with a big role, and it’s his second with Taika Waititi, who also directed Thor: Ragnarok, which premiered in 2017. You’ll also see Thor: Ragnarok on the list, but it’s a little bit closer to the top.

In the movie, Thor, Valkyrie, Dr. Jane Foster, and Korg set out on a mission to rescue a bunch of Asgardian children after they were kidnapped by Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale). This movie has a lot of style and more jokes than most Marvel movies, but I really enjoyed Thor, Gorr, and the rest of these great characters.

It’s unclear if Thor 5 is going to happen in the MCU, but Chris Hemsworth has said many times that he would be happy to return and keep making these movies. Fingers crossed we see another Thor movie and allow Hemsworth and Waititi to complete their trilogy.

For No. 5, we’re going back to the first Thor movie, Thor!
