1. Lucy Fry
Here me out, the name Lucy Fry may not be on the tip of your tongue, but she has shown her versatility as an actress time and time again. Her role as Stella in the critically acclaimed series Godfather of Harlem is just another example of her incredible talent.
What’s interesting about Fry’s role in Godfather of Harlem is how it compares to Margot Robbie’s breakout performance in The Wolf of Wall Street. Both actresses shined opposite their immensely talented co-stars, and their performances helped elevate the films to new heights. Fry’s role in Godfather of Harlem sees her play Stella Giganti, the daughter of a mob boss who goes through a fantastic transformation and character growth. Even in scenes with her on-screen father, Vincent D’Onofrio, Fry’s star doesn’t dim. Oh and her voice, she sounds exactly like what you expect from Harley Quinn.
But Fry’s talent extends beyond Godfather of Harlem. In the Netflix original film Bright, she shined, pun-intended opposite Will Smith, which is no small feat. And let’s not forget her stunning turn in the Australian film The Preppie Connection.
At 5’9 with long legs and blonde hair, Fry looks like she was ripped straight from the pages of a comic book. And her parallels to Margot Robbie as both being Aussie actresses with immense talent is another cool factor. Given her talent and range as an actress, Fry would make the perfect choice for a superhero or anti-villain role.
