Scarlett Johansson is one of the biggest and most important stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s no doubt Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow, is one of the fans’ favorite characters we’ve seen in the MCU so far. To celebrate Johansson’s contribution, we ranked all of the Scarlett Johansson Marvel movies.
There are few stars who have been involved with the MCU as long as Johansson. Johansson joined Robert Downey Jr. in the MCU in 2010 in Iron Man 2, which was the third MCU movie. That means Johansson has been involved longer than Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Christ Pratt (obviously, I just wanted to throw his name into the mix to keep it Chris.), Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and pretty much every other major MCU star.
Here’s the list of Scarlett Johansson Marvel movies in order:
- Iron Man 2 (2010)
- Marvel’s The Avengers (2012)
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
- Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
- Captain America: Civil War (2016)
- Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
- Avengers: Endgame (2019)
- Black Widow (2021)
- Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
For the purpose of this ranking, we’re not going to include Spider-Man: No Way Home. While Johansson appears in a post-credits scene, Natasha Romanoff doesn’t play a major role in the film, and that’s what we’re comparing for this ranking.
Let’s get the list started with the worst of Johansson’s Marvel movies. The good news is that there isn’t a bad Marvel movie featuring Johansson. As I mentioned in most of these rankings, it’s just about which of the Marvel movies are less good than the others.
