The Marvel Cinematic Universe is full of skilled fighters, but who is the best fighter in the MCU? AI has some thoughts on the debate, but it’s dead wrong.

When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the franchise is full of skilled fighters from all walks of life and all corners of the universe. Some of these fighters have extraordinary abilities, while for others their tactical skills are what makes them the heroes they are and allows them to go toe-to-toe with villains of all kinds.

Whether it’s a brutal hand-to-hand combat sequence or an epic battle against an otherworldly foe, the MCU has consistently delivered some of the most breathtaking fight scenes in recent memory. From the acrobatic moves of Spider-Man to the lightning-fast strikes of Black Widow, each character brings a unique style to the table.

There are arguments to be had as to why several characters from the MCU should be considered to be the best fighter in the MCU, but when we decided to ask ChatGPT’s AI who it sees as the best fighter it easily answered the question. The only problem is that AI was dead wrong.

Who is the best fighter in the MCU? (According to AI)

Out of an eagerness to see who ChatGPT’s AI would consider to be the best fighter in the MCU, we asked its AI directly for its opinion. There were no restrictions given, just a simple question posed. In ChatGPT’s opinion, Captain America is the best fighter. Here’s why:

"It’s no secret that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is jam-packed with some of the most powerful and skilled fighters in the galaxy. But, in the words of the great Stan Lee, who is the best fighter in the MCU? Well, that’s a tough one. There are a lot of contenders for the title, but I’m gonna have to go with the one and only Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America. He may not have superhuman strength or the ability to shoot lasers from his eyes, but what he lacks in powers he makes up for in sheer determination, unwavering courage, and exceptional fighting skills. Not only is he a master of hand-to-hand combat, but he’s also a tactical genius, able to assess and adapt to any situation on the fly. And let’s not forget his trusty shield, which he wields with deadly accuracy and precision, making him a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. So, in my humble opinion, Steve Rogers is the best fighter in the MCU, and a true hero in every sense of the word."

Okay, there is no denying that Captain America is definitely one of the best fighters in the MCU and has shown some amazing hand-to-hand combat skills over his time in the MCU, calling him the best fighter overall is a major miss and injustice to the pair who deserve to share that title.

While Captain America is an incredible fighter and has held his own against countless opponents, when it comes to the best fighter in the MCU it seems only right that the title goes to either Shang-Chi or Black Widow.

Shang-Chi is a master of martial arts, trained in Ta Lo. His combat style is a fusion of various martial arts disciplines, including kung fu, taekwondo, and karate. He also possesses a unique power known as the Ten Rings, which grants him enhanced strength, agility, and the ability to create energy-based weapons. Shang-Chi’s fighting style is fluid, acrobatic, and visually stunning, as seen in his standalone film, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Then there is Black Widow who is one of the most skilled fighters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is a master of multiple martial arts styles, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay Thai, and karate. She also possesses exceptional agility, strength, and endurance. Her fighting style is fluid, precise, and deadly. Black Widow’s combat expertise is enhanced by her strategic thinking and improvisational skills, making her a formidable opponent even against stronger foes. What’s most impressive is she doesn’t possess any type of superhuman abilities beyond the training she received which is why it’s impossible not to think of the best fighter and give her the crown.

Sure we love Cap and know he’s one of the best, but how can you overlook the fact that her fighting skills are what make her one of the founding members of the Avengers and have allowed her to face off against several otherworldly villains.
