6. Alan Ritchson
There was no way the man who has already played the role once for TV would not make the list — the one and only Alan Ritchson. No, this isn’t the most original pick, and he’ll play an older version of Aquaman, but it’ll be on par with Momoa’s age.
Not only is Ritchson already part of the DC universe as Hank Hall/Hawk in Titans, but the dude is also a walking, talking Aquaman comic book come to life! Seriously, just take one look at him and you’ll see what we mean. With his chiseled abs, rugged good looks, and piercing blue eyes, it’s like he’s been ripped straight from the pages of the Aquaman comics.
And let’s not forget about his acting chops. Ritchson has proven time and time again that he’s more than just a pretty face. He’s shown his range as an actor in roles like Thad Castle in Blue Mountain State and most recently as Jack Reacher in the TV series of the same name. He’s got the action-hero moves down pat, and we have no doubt that he could hold his own as the king of the seas.
So, why not give Ritchson the chance to shine as Aquaman on the big screen? He’s already a fan favorite for the role, and he’s got the looks and talent to back it up.
