4. Jensen Ackles

It’s no secret that Jensen Ackles has been a fan favorite for the roles of Batman and Red Hood. After all, he voiced both characters. But as the DC Universe moves in a new direction, those roles may be out of reach for Ackles due to his age. However, there’s one role that he could still rock: Aquaman.

That’s right, folks. The Supernatural star could be the perfect fit to take on the mantle of the King of Atlantis. Just picture Ackles with the long hair, beard, and maybe even tattoos. He could pull off the exact style that fans have come to love from Jason Momoa.

Aside from his rugged good looks, Ackles also has the acting chops to bring Aquaman to life. He’s shown his range as an actor through his 15 seasons as Dean Winchester on Supernatural, from heart-wrenching emotional moments to hilarious comedic scenes. Plus, his experience as a voice actor in animated series and video games would certainly come in handy for the role of Aquaman.

We already saw him play a hero in The Boys as Soldier Boy, but if Gunn and Safran are looking for the guy to replace Momoa, look no further than Ackles.
