In the previous episode of Gotham Knights (titled “Bad to Be Good”), the team gets closer to finding the Court of Owls. After Carrie and Duela questioned Eunice Harmon (daughter of the Court of Owl’s Talon) and discovered that the Talon’s longevity comes from a serum of sorts. The problem is the Court can’t replicate it. However, at the end of the episode, The Court finds a map after burning the paintings they had stolen. This could lead to what’s needed to create more Talons. Possibly the Lazarus Pit.

At the end of the episode, Harvey Dent is visited by Cressida Clarke. She tells Harvey she needs protection. Of course, Dent isn’t happy that the woman who helped the Court of Owls kill his friend (Bruce Wayne) is asking for a favor. Then she drops the bomb. Cressida tells Harvey she knows what the Court is planning.

Gotham Knights continues to get better after every episode. One of the reasons the show found its footing is not having one person always being the star. The cast’s chemistry has made it easier for the creative team to make a bold move of not having a main star.

With no real lead, it’s easier to make the right character the focus of the story. Sometimes Harper will go off and save the day. The next episode could be all about Carrie and Duela (like the previous episode). The newest DC Comics show may have started with Turner being the star, but that’s changed as the season continues. Thankfully, being in a lesser role at times has helped the character. He’s more interesting when he’s not front and center.
