2. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 premiered in theaters in May 2023, and it’s a hit! The film is the last of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy with James Gunn, who wrote and directed all three Guardians of the Galaxy movies, moving over to the DC Extended Universe after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
In the movie, the Guardians of the Galaxy fight off Adam Warlock (Will Poulter), whose character was teased at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. In the fight, one of the Guardians is injured, which sets the remaining Guardians of the Galaxy on a quest to save their life.
While there were some negative reviews for the film, it holds a 95 percent audience approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes currently. That’s the highest of any of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and more than almost every MCU movie!
It’s unclear if we’ll see the Guardians of the Galaxy after the events of Vol. 3. There are sure to be a few cast members carried over to the other and future MCU movies. These movies are super popular and so are the characters. We definitely haven’t seen the last of some of them.
