Superman and Lois season 3 makes its return to The CW this week with its eighth episode. The show has once again proved why its the network’s most popular series since its comeback earlier this year, with a powerful third season that has received acclaim from fans and critics.

Lois Lane’s battle against cancer has been one of the most poignant storylines the comic book or superhero medium has ever told, and Elizabeth Tulloch’s performance has been nothing short of incredible. The whole Kent and Lane family has been rallying around Lois as they all try to be there for her and each other through the emotional time.

Lois, determined as always, is fighting her illness while also investigating Bruno Mannheim. That investigation produced some shocking results last week, as Lois and Clark discovered that Peia was actually Bruno’s wife. And fans got to see how Peia, a.k.a. Onomatopoeia, and Bruno fell for each other years ago.

The story has more layers as it was revealed that Mateo, the nice young man who has fallen for Natalie Irons, is actually Bruno and Peia’s son. How will John Henry Irons react when he discovers this, and is it going to happen in this week’s episode when Natalie meets the Mannheim family for dinner?
