1. Kingsman: The Secret Service

  • Release Year: 2015
  • Director: Matthew Vaughn
  • Cast: Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton, Michael Caine, Sophie Cookson, and more

There’s no doubt Kingsman: The Secret Service is the best movie of the franchise so far. The series most closely follows Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ comic book of the same name.

In the film, Eggsy (Taron Egerton) can’t seem to stay out of trouble. He receives a lifeline in the form of joining a secret society set on keeping world order and stopping various plots of world domination throughout history known as the Kingsman. The film follows Eggsy’s journey through training to become a Kingsman and gets caught up in a diabolical plot by billionaire inventor, Richmond Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson).

Kingsman: The Secret Service is a nearly perfect comic book adaptation. The cast of this movie is incredible, and the performances are so strong. If you’re into spy action thrillers that are a lot of fun and feature a dynamite soundtrack, Kingsman: The Secret Service is the movie for you.

Hopefully, the upcoming movies and shows will be able to capture the vibe of the first movie of the franchise.

We’ll update the ranking when Kingsman: The Blue Blood is released. It looks like it will be sometime in 2024.
