Killer Croc is undoubtedly one of Batman’s most fearsome enemies, but he’s also one of his most underrated. The character is definitely a fan-favorite but considering he’s one of The Dark Knight’s most physically imposing threats, it’s not unreasonable to think that he should have been featured in more projects over the years.

Nevertheless, Croc has been a constant in his own right. Initially debuting in DC Comics in 1983, the character’s most famous origin story showcases how Waylon Jones, a former wrestler with a rare condition that results in him gaining scales and a reptilian-like appearance, becomes one of the most feared entities in Gotham City as he embarks on a life of crime.
