4. Julian Hilliard

Julian Hilliard is only 11 years old, but he’s already got an impressive resume. The American actor made his movie debut in 2018 with Never Goin’ Back, in which he played an unnamed character. But from there, he really made a splash with his role as young Luke in all 10 episodes of The Haunting of Hill House (2019). That role definitely was a game-changer for Hilliard, as he gave a standout performance.

Since his breakout role in The Haunting of Hill House, Hilliard has since joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, expanding his exposure to an even bigger audience. He played Wanda’s son Billy in the show WandaVision and the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. If you’re a Marvel fan, you no doubt are familiar with the actor.

In 2020, Hilliard appeared in Penny Dreadful: City of Angels and had a substantial part in the 2021 movie The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It as David Glatzel. Needless to say, he’s got a ton of experience and if you’ve seen him in anything, you’ll know he’s talented enough to play Harry Potter.

3. Christian Convery

It seems like 13-year-old actor Christian Convery is everywhere these days. The American-Canadian child star has been acting since 2016 and has a long list of credits on his resume. He made his acting debut in the Hallmark TV movie Hearts of Spring and has since scooped up roles in popular shows like Supernatural, Van Helsing, Legion, Lucifer, and more. He’s acted in multiple Hallmark movies and also appeared in flicks like Venom and Beautiful Boy.

In 2021, however, Convery truly scored his breakout role, playing the leading character Gus in Netflix’s Sweet Tooth. The fantasy series has been a big hit for the streamer, with the second season coming out in April 2023. The show was renewed for a third and final season.

I most recently saw Convery in the 2023 movie Cocaine Bear, and he’s truly a highlight in it. He’s hilarious and could tap into the lighthearted side of Harry. Alternatively, I could totally see Convery playing Ron Weasley as well. Let’s just put him in the reboot, no matter the role!
