2. Jackson Robert Scott

Like other actors on this list, Jackson Robert Scott has an impressive resume at a young age. His first role came in 2015 with an episode of Criminal Minds, and he followed that up with an appearance in Fear the Walking Dead. Horror movie fans probably know him best for his role as Georgie Denbrough in the 2017 movie It, in which he suffers an early death at the hands of Pennywise, sadly. He reprised his role in the sequel, however, as dead Georgie.

The American actor wowed audiences with his starring role in the 2019 horror movie The Prodigy, and of course, his most popular role to date is that of Bodie Locke in the Netflix series Locke & Key. The show concluded in 2022 and had a sizable audience.

At 14 years old, there’s no doubt Scott would make an awesome Harry Potter. He’s very versatile and could very well be a movie star.

1. An unknown actor

Despite all of the actors on this list being incredibly talented, we think the best bet to play the next Boy Who Lived would be someone we haven’t seen before. Daniel Radcliffe had only acted in two projects before landing the role of Harry Potter, and for Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone marked their first-ever acting jobs.

There will be so much pressure finding the perfect Harry Potter, and casting someone the world isn’t familiar with would be the most effective. The character is so massive and beloved across the globe, that it would be best to find an actor who audiences don’t already have opinions on. I would be shocked if Warner Bros. doesn’t cast someone new to the scene.

No matter who is chosen to play the next Harry Potter, they’ll have enormous shoes to fill.
