Barbie is officially coming to theaters on July 21, 2023, and it’s easily one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year, not just the summer. There’s a chance this movie is the best movie of the year. We just have to wait and see what Greta Gerwig, who co-wrote the series with Noah Baumbach and also directed the movie, has dreamed up.

So far, I truly have no idea what’s going to happen in Barbie. Usually, full movies are given away in the trailer, but that’s not so with Barbie. All we know so far is that Barbie (Robbie) and Ken (Gosling) are leaving Barbie Land and headed for the real world. Oh, and Ken brought his roller skates.

It’s kind of insane to see the trailer and all the stills from Barbie and like come to terms with the fact that it’s an actual movie. There’s no way something like this would have happened a decade ago. Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie, and Ryan Gosling are the perfect trio to bring this story to life. Hopefully, it’s fantastic!
