Fast X is finally here! The eleventh film of the Fast and Furious film franchise and the tenth of main storyline premieres on May 19, 2023. Normally, this would be the biggest film of the summer, but there are a few superhero movies that just edge out Fast X for the top spot on this list.
I’m so excited for Fast X. It looks like it has all the makings of the best Fast and Furious movies. Lately, the movies have been really good, although I think the team hits its stride in Fast Five, Fast and Furious 6, and Furious 7.
What’s so awesome about Fast X is how many characters and stories from the previous movies are returning. After the heist in Brazil during Fast Five, Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa), the son of Hernan Reyes, who Dom and the crew stole money from, is back for revenge on Dom and his family. Will they be able to stop him? We’ll have to wait and see.
Fast X: Part Two is already scheduled for release in 2025, and there are even more Fast and Furious movies coming soon. What a great time to be alive.
