9. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One

  • Release Date: July 12, 2023
  • Director: Christopher McQuarrie
  • Cast: Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is the seventh Mission: Impossible movie we’ve seen so far and the first since 2018, which was Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt, and the stunts are getting bigger and better in every Mission: Impossible movie. Dead Reckoning looks like it’s going to be the biggest yet.

We don’t know what Dead Reckoning is about yet. We’ll likely find out that as we get closer to the release date. We see Henry Czerny’s character, Eugene Kittridge, asking Ethan Hunt to pick a side in the coming war. We don’t know what this is implying or referencing, but it seems like the stakes have never been higher.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two is already in the works. In fact, it’s already been filmed and has a release date. You can watch Dead Reckoning Part Two in theaters starting June 28, 2024.
