4. Suki Waterhouse

She may look familiar, but Suki Waterhouse may not be the first name that comes to mind when thinking about potential Black Canary actresses. But when you look at her past roles, it’s quite clear she’s perfect for the role.

In her breakout role in the movie Love, Rosie, she played a quirky and charming young woman with a strong sense of humor and determination. There’s The Bad Batch, where she portrayed a fearless and resourceful survivor in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. And her most glaring role that points to why she’s the perfect Black Canary is Assassination Nation, where she played a fierce and rebellious teenager who stands up against a town that tries to silence her. Those are just a few roles that showcased her range as an actress, and how she can bring a unique and powerful energy to any character she plays.

The 5’8” Waterhouse’s striking looks and fearless attitude make her the ideal choice for a character like Black Canary. She can capture the character’s essence both in and out of the suit, and her on-screen presence is sure to captivate audiences. With her mix of charm, humor, and grit, Waterhouse could bring new life to Black Canary and show us a side of the character that we haven’t seen before. So, while she may not be the most obvious choice, Suki Waterhouse could be the perfect actress to take on the role of Black Canary if the opportunity arises.
