Fear The Walking Dead is back. The TWD spinoff series has returned to screens for the first time in almost a year as it prepares to bow out with its eighth and final season.

When the show concludes, it will become the second TWD Universe show to end, taking its cues from parent show The Walking Dead which came to an end after 11 seasons back in November last year. But this is just the beginning of a new chapter for AMC’s shared universe of walkers, as three new offshoots will air within the coming year, all focused on characters from the original show.

Fear‘s final season will be split into two parts, with the first one’s conclusion leading right into The Walking Dead: Dead City next month. It will then return for a second batch of episodes in the fall/winter.

But season 8 is just getting started, and one of the most exciting aspects of that is that original leading lady Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) is back. She returned in the final few episodes of season 8, crossing paths with Morgan (Lennie James), and now the two of them will bring it home in the show’s final season. Fear The Walking Dead season 8 episode 2 release date

Fear The Walking Dead season 8 episode 2, titled “Blue Jay”, will premiere on AMC next Sunday, May 21, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, and 8:00 p.m. CT.

If you can’t wait that long, you’ll be glad to know that you can watch it three days earlier on AMC Plus. The second episode premieres on AMC+ Early Access this Thursday, May 18.

The episode will focus on the character of June, who finds herself in a precarious predicament after fleeing PADRE, which could threaten her own safety. Meanwhile, a desperate father will be searching for his missing daughter.
