Everyone has their own personal opinion on who the worst Batman actor is, but who does AI think is the worst actor to ever suit up as the Dark Knight?

When it comes to the Dark Knight, there have been many successful iterations of the character on the big screen over the years. In fact, many of DC’s Batman movies are often included in conversations among fans discussing the best superhero movies of all time.

Known for their dark and brooding atmosphere, intricate storytelling, and compelling characters, DC’s many movies about the Dark Knight have captivated audiences for decades going all the way back to 1989 when Michael Keaton first suited up the iconic hero.

The unparalleled success of films like The Dark Knight and Batman Begins can be attributed to their exceptional direction, standout performances, and thought-provoking themes explored within the movies.

As a character, the Dark Knight resonates deeply with viewers due to his complex nature, haunted past, and unwavering dedication to justice. The exploration of these facets, coupled with intense action sequences and iconic villains, has elevated movies to the status of true classics, leaving an indelible mark on the superhero genre as a whole.

Over the years, there have been many actors who have been honored with the task of playing the Caped Crusader on the big screen. For many of these actors, their time as the Dark Knight is looked back on fondly, while there are other performances fans wish they could forget entirely.

Who is the worst Batman? (According to AI)

We know that AI believes Christian Bale is the best Dark Knight, but who does it view as being the worst Batman actor? This is the question we sought to answer as we asked ChatGPT’s AI to tell us who the worst Dark Knight actor… and its answer was far from surprising.

Here’s why AI feels George Clooney is the worst of the actors to play the Caped Crusader:

"It’s always tough to admit that there have been portrayals of Batman that didn’t quite hit the mark. While opinions may vary, one interpretation of Batman that didn’t resonate with many fans was George Clooney’s portrayal in Batman & Robin (1997).Clooney’s Batman was widely criticized for its campy tone, exaggerated dialogue, and over-the-top costume design. The film itself was a departure from the darker and more grounded Batman stories that fans had come to love. The excessive use of puns and the inclusion of over-the-top villains like Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy didn’t sit well with fans who preferred a more serious and nuanced take on the character.Despite Clooney’s talent as an actor, his portrayal of Batman lacked the brooding intensity and complexity that fans have come to expect from the Dark Knight. The film’s poor reception and subsequent impact on the Batman franchise only further cemented the perception that George Clooney’s Batman was the weakest interpretation to date."

So is anyone really surprised that AI selected George Clooney as the worst Batman? We’ve all seen Batman and Robin and know AI hit the mark with its selection.

As AI points out, Clooney is an amazing actor who has delivered some iconic performances throughout his career. However, his turn as the Dark Knight was lacking and just fell completely flat. The problem is that while Clooney made a perfect Bruce Wayne, he just couldn’t capture the intensity and complexity of his alter ego which led to a pretty cheesy Caped Crusader.

Although Clooney’s time as the Dark Knight has carved out a cult following over the years who appreciate the performance’s campiness, there’s no denying his performance as DC’s beloved hero just does not stand up against the likes of Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, or Robert Pattinson.
