2023 is bringing about the end of many beloved TV shows. Which TV shows will fans be bidding farewell to this year?

A new year is an opportunity for new beginnings; the chance to start something new (or start over) and press the reset button. For television, it’s the chance to shake up the TV schedule, and that’s something we’ll see plenty of in 2023, with a bunch of new TV shows, seasons, and stories to enjoy in the coming 12 months.

For some TV shows, though, 2023 will mark the end for their runs. Heck, we’ve seen it already as the beloved Max series Titans came to a premature end. That’s also something that fans of The CW in particular understood last year when the network known for cancelling nothing decided to cancel half of its line-up ahead of its sale to Nexstar. In fact, some of those shows haven’t concluded yet, and will end this year.

But cancellations aren’t the only reason to bring an end to a TV series. After all, even the longest-running shows have to end at some point. That’s something we saw last year too when The Walking Dead decided it was time to rest in peace after 11 seasons.

Taking all of that into account, here are some major TV shows that will be bowing out this year.
