Fear The Walking Dead

After the conclusion of The Walking Dead in November of last year, Fear The Walking Dead officially became the longest-running series in the ever-growing TWD Universe. Unfortunately, it won’t be holding onto that record for long, as it was announced by AMC earlier this year that its eighth season would be its last.

It’s never really a shock for a TV show to conclude when its got eight seasons in the books, but as there had been no signs to suggest that Fear was near its end, the announcement caught fans off-guard – especially as this was the beginning of the TWD Universe era, with multiple new Walking Dead spinoffs set to air this year and next.

The show’s original main character, Madison Clark, is back for the send-off, with Kim Dickens resuming her series regular role in the eighth season.

That eighth season has officially commenced, with the first episode premiering on AMC on May 14. It runs for six weeks before taking a hiatus and returning to conclude its run in the fall.

However the end comes for Fear, it will be another major end of an era for the world of The Walking Dead.
