Doom Patrol season 4 part 2 is not coming to Max in June 2023

Unfortunately Doom Patrol season 4 part 2 won’t be making its presence felt on Max this month.

DC fans have been watching a lot of their favorite TV shows get cancelled over the past year. DC’s Stargirl, Batwoman, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Naomi were some of the small screen projects axed last year, as Warner Bros. Discovery (and The CW) moved in a new direction. And the beginning of the new year brought with it more cancellations as HBO Max shows Titans and Doom Patrol were cancelled after four seasons each.

At the time, both shows were in the midst of their fourth seasons but Titans has since returned to HBO Max with its final six episodes to end its five-year-run. Doom Patrol, however, has not. The first part of the season streamed on the WarnerMedia service back in December 2022, wrapping in January of this year. But it has yet to return with its final batch of episodes.

Unfortunately, that won’t be changing in the coming month. Max (formerly HBO Max) has unveiled its new and returning titles for the month of June, and Doom Patrol season 4 part 2 is once again absent from the list.

Doom Patrol season 4 part 2 release updates

Fans are hoping that Doom Patrol season 4 part 2 will make its presence felt on Max soon. It isn’t really clear as to why it hasn’t yet. The first half of its fourth and final season streamed on Max last year, immediately after the first half of Titans season 4 concluded. This was before the fate of either show had been announced.

Since then, Titans returned to air its final six episodes, so audiences were anticipating Doom Patrol to once again pick up where it left off. That didn’t happen, but it was understandable given that a show like Titans should have all the fanfare and attention when bowing out. The same applies to Doom Patrol, which is why fans were hoping it would arrive sometime in June instead.

Doom Patrol season 4 part 2 will premiere on Max in 2023. That much we know as it was confirmed in a trailer for the streaming service earlier this year. As for when exactly that might happen, we could be looking at anytime as early as July 2023. But on the other hand, don’t be surprised if it is released in the fall since Max could look to make the most of the show while it still has new episodes left to air.

That’s just a prediction and as its release has been quite unpredictable, it’s best to wait for official confirmation from Max.
