There’s no doubt that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is the best Spider-Man movie so far. As a fan of the Spider-Man comics, there’s been nothing so far that captures the spirit and vibe of the comics like Into the Spider-Verse does. It’s truly, truly incredible.

The film tells the origin story of Miles Morales, a teenager who is bitten by a radioactive spider and gets superpowers. As Miles struggles to learn how to use his powers, a rift in the multiverse is created by Kingpin and his goons, which brings Spider folk from other universes together, including Peter Parker, Peter Porker, Peni Parker, Peter Parker, Peter B. Parker, and Gwen Stacy. They must work together to stop Kingpin if they ever want to return home.

I understand some people might not like the movie because it’s animated, and that’s fine. But top to bottom, this story is nails. There are no holes. It’s going to be amazing to see how the creative team can try to build upon this story in the Into the Spider-Verse sequels, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
