The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace wants Superman and Lois to embrace the Arrowverse by finding ways to sneak in some crossovers.

At the time this article has been published, no announcements have been made on whether Superman & Lois will be renewed for a fourth season, but the showrunner of The Flash, Eric Wallace, is hoping if a fourth season happens Superman & Lois will finally embrace the Arrowverse connections.

During an interview with EW (via CBR), Wallace mentioned having a meeting with the former showrunner of The Flash and the boss of Superman & Lois, Todd Helbing in which he hinted about his desire to see the Arrowverse live on through Superman & Lois.

"“I’ve approached it as The Flash is over and I want to make the best Flash series finale as possible. I’m going to have lunch with [Superman & Lois showrunner] Todd [Helbing] in the next couple weeks. And I’m going to tell him ‘If you get a fourth season, you’ve got to sneak some Arrowverse in there. You are now carrying the torch.’”"

Not only has Wallace pitched the idea of Superman & Lois embracing the Arrowverse connection more in its potential fourth season, but it seems Helbing is also open to the idea. In fact, he’s even got his eye on the possibility of bringing in two key members of The Flash cast should the opportunity arise for the Arrowverse connections to be explored further in Superman & Lois.

"“I will say this, it sure is a lot easier now that the other shows aren’t on the air, people’s schedules are a lot easier to work around, so… maybe,” Helbing revealed “I would love to bring Grant on, and I think it would be a lot of fun to have Candice, to have Iris with [Elizabeth Tulloch’s] Lois Lane. So we’ll see.”"

It remains to be seen whether Superman & Lois will get the chance to explore any Arrowverse crossovers in a potential fourth season or not, but it seems there is some definite interest from those behind the series.
