3. Pokémon – “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” by Jason Paige

“You teach me and I’ll teach you! Pokémon!”

Yeah, I know you sang along too. Pokémon wasn’t just a hit because of its cute little animals. Its themes and lessons were actually pretty great as well, and the theme song falls into that category. Ridiculously upbeat, with a message about working together for a better world and catching said adorable little creatures… Yeah. The perfect formula.

This song still gets me dancing around to this day.

2. Bleach Season 1 – “Asterisk” by Orange Range

This song has a special place in my heart. It reminds me of the anime I grew up watching, and it has a really chill vibe to it. My husband was the one who introduced me to Bleach in the first place, and since this is his all-time favorite show, he knows all the lyrics to all the openings.

This song feel very home-y as well because of the music style. Usually, you’d expect an action anime like Bleach to have this incredible anthem with a chorus and an orchestra. But this song, as well as the other opening songs, just make me think of the ’90s and how simple things were back then.
