9. Lady and the Tramp

Lady and the Tramp might not have been as flashy as other live-action Disney remakes but it’s an underrated gem that captures the magic of the original story.

Directed by Charlie Bean, the movie follows the adventures of Lady, a pampered Cocker Spaniel, and Tramp, a streetwise mutt, as they fall in love and navigate the challenges of their different worlds.

Tessa Thompson, who voices Lady, and Justin Theroux, who voices Tramp, bring a sense of charm and humor to the story delivering standout performances. In fact, it’s honestly shocking that the film didn’t get more buzz due to their involvement alone.

Lady and the Tramp perfectly captures the spirit and heart of the original story while adding its own unique touches. The film is such an underrated gem in the live-action mix and did an incredible job of recapturing the heart of the original film through a more modern lens.

There is no doubt that had Disney released the film theatrically it likely would have garnered more attention, but if you’re looking for a hidden gem in the mix, Lady and the Tramp is perfect for you.
