It’s a weird time to be a DC fan. The DCEU as we know it is quickly crumbling around us, but before the new DC Universe launches there are still a few new releases from the old guard including Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 hit film Aquaman.
The synopsis for the film reveals that an ancient power has been unleashed, posing a threat to Atlantis and the entire world. To save his kingdom and prevent irreversible devastation, Aquaman must forge an uneasy alliance with an unlikely ally. This plotline has fans eager to see what might be next, as they speculate about who this ally could be and what kind of dynamic it will bring to the film.
The first Aquaman movie was praised for its stunning visuals and thrilling action sequences, and fans are expecting nothing less from this sequel. With director James Wan at the helm once again, fans can rest assured that they’re in for a treat.
