6. Sarah Jeffery

If you have ever tuned in to any shows on The CW, then you might actually recognize Sarah Jeffery. But where would you recognize her from? That would be the reboot of Charmed. In that show, she played the lead role of Maggie. And that means that not only was she a leader in the series, but she also worked with magic.

In order to portray the role of Shadowcat, we want an actress who has been a lead before, or who we believe could be one. We want someone who has proven that they can be a strong presence on our screens. And we also want one who has potentially given us a character, that’s outside of the box. And what’s more outside of the box than portraying a magical witch sister?

Honestly, we want an actress who can give us strength, power, leadership, and who we believe has been through a lot in their life. Considering the comics have given us a character who has grown and changed multiple times, including having different superhero names and even being in a relationship with Star-Lord, we want someone who can embody all of that and more. And we believe that Sarah Jeffery could do that, just based on what we saw from her in the Charmed reboot.

It also helps that at 27 years old, Jeffery can not only give us a younger take on the character, but she could also grow with the role. She has the maturity we want in the character, while also being young enough to not yet be jaded by life.
