X-Men: 7 actresses we want to see play Shadowcat in the MCU
5. Millie Bobby Brown
As Eleven on Netflix’s Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown has given us a character who has not only shown amazing growth over multiple seasons but has shown us loss, heartbreak, terror, leadership, and more. She has lived in an alternate universe, alone and with very little hope at times. And she has survived and even thrived.
The fact that the actress was able to do all of this and make us believe that she was in fact this powerful girl with special abilities is everything we need and more in the person who will take on the role of the MCU’s Shadowcat.
It’s also important to note that Millie Bobby Brown is just 19 years old, which means that she is young enough to portray earlier versions of Shadowcat, while also being able to grow with the role for a long time to come. Plus, we can’t help but think that the range that the actress has already shown is enough to have us believe that she could be a more mature and even hardened version of the mutant superhero.
Looking at what the actress has already delivered across multiple roles (Eleven, Enola Holmes, etc..), we can definitely see her stepping into the MCU and bringing her own flare and style to the X-Men.
