Over the last two decades, few action franchises have been as successful as the Transformers movies. The first movie, Transformers, starring Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox premiered in theaters in 2007 and was a massive success.

All of that success launched the Transformers franchise, and more than 15 years later, there are six Transformers movies and a seventh coming soon.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts premiered in theaters on June 9, 2023. In honor of the new movie, we ranked the Transformers movies from worst to best.

The only Transformers movie out of chronological order is Bumblebee, which is a prequel set before the events of Transformers, which was released in 2007. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is also a prequel, and it’s set after Bumblebee and before Transformers.

Where to watch Transformers

Unfortunately, the Transformers movies are a bit tough to find. A few are available on subscription streaming platforms, but Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Transformers: The Last Knight are only available on cable or through SVOD services to rent or buy right now.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is available to stream on Paramount+, while Transformers: Age of Extinction is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Bumblebee is streaming on Fubo and Paramount+.
