5. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the second movie of the Transformers franchise. It was released two years after the first movie. Most of the cast, including Shia LeBeouf, Megan Fox, Tyrese Gibson, and Josh Duhamel, returns for the second movie. Although it includes most of the same cast, characters, and creative team, Revenge of the Fallen didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by the first movie of the franchise.

Revenge of the Fallen continues the story of the Autobots and Decepticons. The Fallen, an ancient Transformer set on revenge, returns to Earth to destroy Optimus Prime, the Autobots, and the human race.

There’s a lot to like about Revenge of the Fallen, including some awesome action sequences, but the lore of Transformers and how the story sets up just isn’t quite what fans were expecting. Thankfully, it gets a little better in the third movie, Dark of the Moon, which is up next on this ranking.
