3. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts premiered in theaters on June 9, 2023, and it’s definitely going to be one of the biggest movies of the summer. Rise of the Beasts is the seventh movie in the Transformers franchise, but it’s a prequel. It’s set after the events of Bumblebee and before the events of Transformers.

Set in 1994, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts brings the Autobots and Maximals together to join forces against the Unicron and the Terrorcons. Unicron is a planet-eater, and it is ready to munch on Earth unless Optimus Prime and the gang can stop Unicron. Noah Diaz (Anthony Ramos) and Elene Wallace (Dominique Fishback), two humans, try to aid the Autobots.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is basically the Avengers: Endgame of Transformers movie. Like, this is the biggest foe and challenge Optimus Prime and the team has faced! Will they be able to stop Unicron? You’ll have to see to find out!

There’s no doubt this movie is one of the best Transformers movies so far. For me, it’s a little bit below the top two on the list, but it’s so much better than the four movies behind it. There’s actually a story here that makes sense, solid performances, and even more epic action sequences.
