Spider-Man: 10 best Across the Spider-Verse characters, ranked
By Mark Lynch
8. Miles G. Morales (Prowler)
"“I’m Miles Morales.” – Miles G. Morales"
Some characters can make an impression in a short amount of time. This is what Miles G. Morales did. He was the perfect “what if…?” for Miles Prime. Without the spider bite, there was no one to protect the city. It turned New York into a Snake Plissken movie and Miles into the Prowler. And, from the looks of how he treated Miles Prime, G. Morales wasn’t a good person. Miles said that needed to save his father and G. Morales didn’t care. He left Miles tied to the punching bag. If G. Morales had to live without a father, then why should he care about someone else’s?
Beyond what was seen in Across the Spider-Verse, the potential put him on the list. A fight between Miles Prime and G. Morales is coming. G. Morales may not have superpowers, but his suit will make up for it. And, if Miles Prime loses, Gwen’s team could save the wrong person. That will leave a whole new problem for everyone to deal with.
If the two Miles fight ends quickly, this won’t be the last fans see of G. Morales. Just knowing that there’s another him living a better life will have him wanting what Miles has. Maybe Spider-Man 2099 ends up teaming with G. Morales. They’ll both be determined to hurt Miles.
