7. Peter B. Parker (Spider-Man)

"“Come on, go easy on the kid. He had a terrible teacher.” – Peter B. Parker"

Peter B. Parker became a parody of everything that Spider-Man and Peter Parker are. At the same time, he’s everything that he is in the comics. All of his misfortunate events forced him to give up his responsibility. At the end of Into the Spider-Verse, Peter was inspired by Miles. He got back together with Mary Jane. Soon after that, they had a daughter named Mayday.

Peter came into the movie just like you’d expect. Wearing a robe and talking about himself in a negative way. Also like Into the Spider-Verse, Peter was a major part of Miles’ life. This time, it was in a negative way. Peter betrayed Miles by not telling him the truth about his role in the multiverse. Miles’ hurt feelings were justified.

It was obvious that Peter felt bad, but that didn’t take the pain away. Their relationship changed forever thanks to this. However, Peter was proud of Miles at the end of the move. Despite the odds vastly being against him, Miles came up with a plan to beat Spider-Man 2099 and every other Spider-Being. Peter watched with a smile on his face as his mentee defeated everyone.
