Bruno Mannheim

Bruno Mannheim was the main villain of Superman and Lois season 3. The notorious leader of Intergang, he has been on Lois Lane’s radar for a very long time, but she just wasn’t able to pin anything on him. However, when he started creating super beings, the breadcrumbs all led back to Bruno.

Chad L. Coleman did a sensational job of making Bruno a force to be reckoned with. You could just feel the mood and tone shift every time he showed up on screen as Coleman had such a commanding presence that really brought the villain to life. And when the show revealed that the character was doing all of this to save his dying wife, it added so many more emotional layers to his story.

But don’t be expecting to see Bruno back in the show’s fourth season. If you’ve been watching season 3, you’ll already know why. The crime boss agreed to take responsibility for his heinous crimes after the death of his wife Peia, telling the D.O.D. that he would cooperate with them fully as long as his son Matteo was absolved of any crimes he might have committed to help his parents.

Coleman’s series regular contract was only for season 3 as he was its primary villain, but now that we know all of the series regulars on the show have been cut bar the four main characters, fans won’t be surprised to learn that he won’t be back, especially as Bruno’s story came to a close.
