American director, screenwriter, and actor Quentin Tarantino is known for his distinctive and influential style of filmmaking, and his talent is undeniable whether you’re a fan of his or not. In 1992, his feature film directorial debut, Reservoir Dogs, was released, and it was only up from there. The movie was an overnight success and received critical acclaim. And after following that film up with Pulp Fiction, his most iconic to date, Tarantino cemented himself as one of the best directors in modern cinema.
Tarantino has been lucky enough to work with some of the most talented actors in the business, including Robert DeNiro, Bruce Willis, Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, and many more. His movies have brought to life so many memorable characters and storylines, whether they’re based on history or completely made up.
Tarantino’s films have been nominated for Academy Awards, with the filmmaker winning the award for Best Screenplay alongside Roger Avary in 1995 for Pulp Fiction and in 2013 for the Django Unchained screenplay.
