With the fantastic Swordsmith Village Arc ending, we’re ranking 12 Demon Slayer Upper and Lower demons from worst to best.

From the demented creativity of Lower 6 to the ultimate swordsman skills of Upper 1, we have ranked 12 of the best Lower and Upper demons in the Demons Slayer universe (so far).

Just like the tale of our favorite (or the whiniest) demon slayer, Tanjiro Kamado, these aren’t your typical demons lurking under your bed or hiding in your closet. They’re intricate, complex, and incredibly diverse, with powers that range from blood manipulation to teleportation. Each demon possesses unique abilities that add a sprinkle of spice to the supernatural stew that is Demon Slayer.

Grab your Nichirin Blades and let’s take a look at which Demons made this short list, shall we?

12. Kaigaku – Upper Moon 6

Angry for not being made all-powerful by the Thunder Hashira, former Demon Slayer Corps member Kaigaku, and Zinitsu’s friend turned into a traitor, allowing himself to be transformed into a demon for a power boost. He wielded all the Thunder Breathing Techniques, except for the first style.

Despite his limited experience with his Blood Demon Art, Muzan Kibutsuji recognized his power and granted him a spot among the Upper Moons.
