This Sunday, a new era begins for fans of the TWD Universe. The Walking Dead: Dead City kicks off with a series premiere that will reintroduce us to old acquaintances and set the stage for a thrilling new chapter of The Walking Dead.

The six-part drama series takes place an extended amount of time after the series finale and will bring back Maggie Greene/Rhee (Lauren Cohan), and Negan Smith (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as the mortal enemies turned unlikely allies will team up once again to save the former’s son from a new evil.

This is the first of three new spinoff shows set in the TWD Universe, and it’s pretty exciting that it’s headlined by two of the original show’s biggest characters. The others are The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which is coming out later this year, and the as-of-yet untitled Rick and Michonne spinoff which will release in early 2024.
