9. Rosita

It looks like things might be changing now, but for a couple of seasons, Rosita was practically intolerable. Sure, she was messed up by Abe’s death and the fact that he had dumped her just prior to his death to be with Sasha. But after Abe’s death, Rosita went into a spiral of self-pity and misery that was really difficult to deal with.

She was acting out, lashing out, and determined to kill Negan no matter what. She made rash decisions, some might even say stupid decisions, and she seemed determined to make all of the survivors hate her. After failing several times in her plan to try to find a way to attack Negan, she went to The Hilltop to get Sasha’s help.

Even after telling Sasha her plan to kill Negan at The Sanctuary and that she needed her help, Rosita was terrible to Sasha. When she spotted Sasha wearing the headlight necklace that she had made for Abe, Rosita lashed out at Sasha even more. But despite Rosita’s apparent death wish, she didn’t die. She just continued making life miserable for everyone around her and she ended up getting Sasha captured when they tried to sneak into The Sanctuary to assassinate Negan.

Sasha was captured and ultimately killed herself to give Rick and the others at Alexandria a chance to fight back when Negan and The Saviors went to Alexandria to put down Rick’s rebellion and bring Alexandria back in line. Rosita has kept on surviving, and hopefully, at some point, she will do something to justify her continued survival.
