2. Andrea

Initially, Andrea was a very sympathetic character. Unlike the way that Andrea was written in the comics, the character of Andrea on The Walking Dead TV show was annoying and became one of the most polarizing characters on the show because her attempts to be the moral compass of the show fell very flat.

Often, she came across as whiny and judgmental and self-serving. At the farm, she refused to help the other women with chores because she wanted to have a gun and take watch shifts. While she was on one of those shifts she shot at what she thought was a walker. But the walker was actually Daryl. Luckily she was a poor shot and only grazed Daryl instead of killing him.

Later on, she tried to get into a romantic relationship with Shane, but he was only interested in getting Lori away from Rick. Andrea turned her back on Michonne, who had saved her life, when Michonne tried to warn her The Governor was not what he seemed and that Woodbury was not the perfect town that he tried to make it out to be. And when Andrea found out that her friends were at the prison she didn’t leave Woodbury to join her friends.

Instead, she tried to make peace between the two groups, but of course, those efforts failed too. Andrea may have had good intentions but she had terrible follow-through and most of her plans ended up backfiring on her. For her poor judgment, and for shooting Daryl, she has earned her spot as the second most polarizing The Walking Dead character.
