12. Supernatural season 15

Supernatural‘s fifteenth and final season journeyed on a rollercoaster of emotions, landing on a platform that left many fans grappling with an odd blend of satisfaction and discontent. The creative team plunged head-first into a tide of sentimentality, meticulously crafting a wrap-up for age-old stories and orchestrating a grand reunion of beloved characters from the annals of the Winchesters’ history.

Yet, despite these thoughtful touches and the ironic absence of the series’ trademark cliffhanger ending, the Supernatural finale sparked a whirlwind of mixed feelings among the fandom, failing to quench their thirst for a fitting closure.

Dialing up the stakes to celestial heights, the final season heralded an unprecedented nemesis — God himself — whose presence had been alluded to on the show for years leading up to the series finale. This divine face-off struck a chord of inevitability, a fitting finale for a show that had always danced around the fringes of metaphysical might.

Nevertheless, certain narrative decisions stoked a simmering discontent within the Supernatural community, particularly the untimely demise of cherished characters. Their departures, etched permanently into the fabric of the series, will fuel fervent fan debates and a lingering sense of loss for a long time to come.
